We are delighted to share news of our reopening on Saturday 4th July
To book a table please visit our website www.sheffordtandoori.co.uk or call our phone line. We are restricted to how many people are allowed into the restaurant and we would strongly recommend you to book to avoid disappointment. No more than 6 people per table from maximum 2 household only due to COVID-19 guidelines.
Since we closed our doors at the end of March, welcoming you back to Shefford Tandoori has never been far from our minds. As reopening is imminent, we are putting things in place to make sure we are Covid-secure and following all the government guidance.
We can’t wait to welcome you all back and we are going to do everything we can to make our “new normal” as stress-free as possible. Shefford Tandoori will operate under the new guidelines to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff. We can promise you this ‘new normal’ will not replace the level of service you are used to experiencing, but it will enable you to feel safe and relaxed after what has been a challenging time for us all. We want to offer you all the best service we can fitting in with new regulations.
We ask our customers to respect current government distancing guidelines, use hand sanitisation stations provided and to use QR scan barcode to read our menu when ordering. There will be hand gel on entry, exit and outside of the toilets, please use it, you will be asked to give your name and phone number in case of an outbreak so you can be contacted.
Shefford tandoori website will be updated with the new COVID-19 policies prior to the 4th July. We take our staff and guests health and safety extremely seriously and to maintain the social distancing there will be fewer tables to ensure social distancing measures are adhered to. Our staff will be provided with face shields and gloves. All our staff will be encouraged to do regular hand washing.
We will be operating with a reduced number of tables so availability is extremely limited. For the time being.
Due to the constantly changing nature of the guidance, we will continuously review our procedures and dining capacity.
Our restaurant legally have to complete a COVID-19 risk assessment in order to reopen. Ensuring capacity is restricted so customers are able to maintain social distancing is part of the risk assessment. Based on what we have delivered we are happy that our capacity numbers deliver on this.
Most of all we want you to safely enjoy your time with us
As you may know, we have been offering NHS staff & key workers a discount on all take-away collection orders during lockdown and will continue to offer our the discount.
